We might be in the midst of a heat wave, but there hockey season will be here before you know it.
The Ontario Hockey League announced its full schedule yesterday, and the Peterborough Petes are set to open the campaign at home against Kingston on September 26th.
Petes General Manager Mike Oke says this is always a very exciting time of year.
Although the season is still a few months away, Oke says the organization is already getting excited.
Oke says the process of putting all the dates together really starts back in November.
