The Township of Douro-Dummer has appointed Mike Rutter as Interim Chief Administrative Officer.
Rutter, who retired in 2023 after serving as CAO for the County of Haliburton, brings over 30 years of experience in municipal administration.
Mayor Heather Watson expressed confidence in Rutter’s ability to guide the township during the ongoing recruitment for a permanent CAO.
Martina Chait-Hartwig, who served as Acting CAO, will continue in her role as Clerk.
