After original reports that the Musicfest show on Saturday featuring David Wilcox was cancelled and would not be rescheduled, show organizers have announced that he will be performing on Wednesday night.
David Wilcox made the following statement on his social media account following Saturday’s event: “We are heartbroken. Yesterday afternoon thunderstorms knocked the power out at the Peterborough Musicfest and we couldn’t play. Many of our friends were there and we got to say hello to some of them. We’re hoping to come back as soon as possible to rock out with you. Can’t wait!”
The rescheduling of this event was made possible by the generous support of Miskin Law. In a statement, Miskin Law shared: “The team at Miskin Law was deeply disappointed that the David Wilcox concert couldn’t go ahead as planned. We’re committed to doing everything possible to bring this important Peterborough event back. Miskin Law is also covering any additional expenses resulting from the rescheduling. We’re grateful that David Wilcox has generously agreed to perform again.”
Show time on Wednesday is 8pm.
