Growing the regional economy via world-class manufacturing supply chains and the development of highly skilled workforce is the dual aim of the Kawartha Manufacturers Association.
Since 1990, the association has provided a forum for the sharing of information, ideas and resources, fostered an appreciation of supply chains and their contribution to regional quality of life; and improved ties between the education sector, supply chain partners and all levels of government. Put in the simplest terms, the association has local manufacturers’ backs.
The association’s efforts extend beyond just providing networking opportunities; they also focus on helping connect manufacturers with valuable resources and support. Additionally, their work has led to increased awareness of the numerous manufacturing success stories in the region. The strength of the association is closely tied to the active participation of its members.
