The Home Energy Expo is coming to the McDonnel Street Community Centre on October 19th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hosted by the City of Peterborough, GreenUP and For Our Grandchildren, the free admission event will feature informational booths.
The expo aims to help homeowners explore retrofit options for energy renovations. Local tradespeople will provide insights on energy-saving solutions designed to reduce home energy bills and fossil fuel pollution.
GreenUP Home Energy Program manager Clara Blakelock says heat pump installation and their advantages is an event focus.

In addition, Enbridge Gas will present information on the Home Efficiency Rebate Program, offering up to $5,000 in incentives for qualifying retrofits.
