A 59-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges following an incident early Sunday.
Police responded around 12:30 a.m. to reports of a suspected impaired driver near Mount Pleasant Road and Best Road. Officers located the vehicle and observed signs of impairment along with drug paraphernalia during the traffic stop.
Three teenage girls were also in the vehicle with the man, and one fled into a field but was located about two kilometres away by K9 Gryphon.
The man has been charged with impaired driving, driving with cannabis and alcohol readily available. He received a 90-day licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment and is set to appear in court on December 17th.
