A 38-year-old Peterborough man faces multiple charges following an assault incident on Saturday morning.
Peterborough man arrested after throwing ashtray and threatening contractors with frying pan

Shortly after 9am, officers responded to a call in the Aylmer Street and McDonnel Street area. Upon arriving, they learned that the man had thrown an ashtray at contractors, threatened them with a frying pan, and made verbal threats.
The man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and failure to comply with probation. He is currently on probation, with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on December 24th.
