City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck that occurred Friday afternoon at around 12:45 pm on Highway 7, just east of Bridle Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the pick-up truck suffered minor injuries.
Highway 7 between Bridle Road and Angeline Street was closed for several hours as police conducted a collision reconstruction.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Witnesses or anyone with dash camera footage is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
