A 38-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with second-degree murder following an altercation between two tenants at an apartment building Saturday night.
Police were called to the Bonaccord Street and Monaghan Road area around 7:50 pm in regard to the altercation.
Detective Sergeant Josh McGrath says they found a 62-year-old man without vital signs outside the building, who was later pronounced deceased at PRHC.
After an investigation, McGrath says they arrested the lone suspect, Ben Turner.
McGrath believes this was an isolated incident and that there is no concern for public safety.
