Peterborough Police are searching for four suspects after a break and enter at a home near Edison Avenue and Park Street South early Sunday morning.
Around 1:45am, a woman and her teenaged son called police to report intruders in their home. Officers learned four individuals entered the residence, with one allegedly displaying a gun while demanding money. The suspects also used a taser on the family dog, but the animal was unharmed.
The woman and her son locked themselves in a bathroom, and the teen managed to escape and seek help. The suspects fled in a black sedan after realizing the boy had left. Police believe the incident was targeted.
The suspects are described as four males in their mid-20s, dressed in black with face coverings and gloves.
