Jaine Klassen Jeninga is staying at the helm of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
The Northumberland representative was acclaimed as Chairperson at a meeting on Tuesday.
“These are exciting days in public education – we are tremendously proud of the accomplishments of our students, and the energy, enthusiasm and joy that our students, staff, parents and school communities bring to our schools every day. We are united in our dedication to the communities we serve,” said Klassen Jeninga.
The board also elected Paul Brown as Vice-chairperson. Brown represents Clarington and is currently serving his first term as Trustee, and is a past Chair of the Board’s Program Review, Audit and Real Estate Disposal Committees.
