It was the first game after the holiday break for both the Petes and the Ottawa 67’s, and, the third time the Petes have faced their Nation’s Capital rival in four games.
In their last meeting the Petes came away with a shootout win, to extend their home ice winning streak to 5 games and were looking to wrap up December undefeated on home ice.
