Fundraising efforts for the soon-to-open Miskin Law Community Complex are gaining momentum through the Have A Seat Campaign.
The initiative invites donors to sponsor one of 500 seats or 20 benches, each marked with a nameplate to honour a person, group, organization, or business.
City corporate sponsorship program manager Scott Elliott says the campaign is rooted in partnerships with long-standing community user groups.
Seats can be sponsored for $250 and benches for $1,000, with donations accepted at peterborough.ca/HaveASeat, Elliott says.
Elliott outlines how funds raised through the campaign will support the complex.
Launched in July, the Have A Seat Campaign will run until the end of January.
