The City of Peterborough will collect natural Christmas trees curbside throughout January. Residents are asked to place their trees out by today.
The collection will occur weather permitting and does not follow regular pickup schedules. No call is needed to request collection.
Trees will be composted, so all decorations and tinsel must be removed, and trees should not be wrapped in plastic.
Residents are asked to place their trees in a visible spot at the curb, away from snowbanks, to ensure collection staff can easily access them.
