A woman is safe after accidentally falling into the Otonabee River while walking along the path near George and Dalhousie streets on Tuesday.
Police responded to the call around 8:00 p.m. and rescued the woman from the water within minutes of arriving.
She was assessed and treated by EMS at the scene.
