A new era is beginning for the Peterborough Agricultural Society, with a fresh Board of Directors announced at their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday. This newly elected group, made up of 12 new members and 3 associate members, is ready to guide the 180-year-old organization into a revitalized future.
During the meeting, the organization expressed gratitude to the outgoing Board members for their leadership during challenging times, which helped lay the groundwork for this new era.
With a renewed focus on agricultural education, community partnerships, and forward-thinking strategies, the Board aims to honour the Society’s rich history while embracing fresh opportunities.
As this new chapter begins, the Society is encouraging the community to join in its mission to strengthen Peterborough’s agricultural sector and ensure a bright future for the organization.
