And just like that – it’s over.
The curtains closed for the Ontario Curling Championships, which were hosted at the Cobourg Community Centre all week long.
Sam Mooibroek won the men’s title and will represent the province at the upcoming Brier in Kelowna. Danielle Inglis took home the women’s crown and is off to the Scottie’s Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay.
Skip of Team Howard, Scott Howard, took time to praise the host region.
One of those great volunteers was Greg McNeish of the West Northumberland Curling Club.
Organizers were thankful to all of those who gave their time to help make this event a major success.
