The list of 2025 Peterborough Business Hall of Fame inductees is a who’s who of local business, with one inductee thrilled to be mentioned in the same breath as his eleven fellow inductees.
Merrett Home Hardware owner Drew Merrett, who has run the Lansdown Street West business for 26 years, is among those to be inducted May 29th at a ceremony hosted by Junior Achievement.
Merrett says while his name is on the citation, his induction is a shared honour.
While each inductee is being recognized for his or her business acumen and success, Merrett says giving back to the community is an ingrained practice.
Being a mentor to young people, says Merrett, is something he practices and is proud of.
The other inductees are Darrell Junkin on Craftworks; Toni and Kelly Grady of Grady Feet Essentials; Grant Seabrooke of Machine Dynamics; Matt Holmes and Michael Risley of Holmes Risley LLP; Margo and Paul Hudson of Jo Anne’s Place Health Foods; Nancy Wiskel of Dan Joyce Clothing; Martin and Kelly Carbajal of La Mesita; Diane Richard of Diatom Consulting; Ray Patel of
Ennismore Foodland; Peter, Rita, Michael, Eric and Graeme Eatson of Peterborough Volkswagen; and Natalie MacMaster, Donnell Leahy and Julia Leahy of Natalie Donnell Entertainment.
