Peterborough residents are invited to a community meeting to learn about and share feedback on the City’s plans for its strategic growth areas. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Healthy Planet Arena, located at 911 Monaghan Road.
The City’s Project Team will present concepts for land use, building heights, transportation, parks, and open spaces across key growth areas identified in the City’s Official Plan. These include:
- Central Area (Downtown and East City)
- Water Street North Corridor
- Chemong Road Corridor
- Clonsilla Avenue and Charlotte Street Corridor
- Lansdowne Street Corridor
- Armour Road (North) Corridor
A 20-minute presentation will kick off the event, followed by an opportunity for attendees to interact with maps, explore 3D building concepts, and share their priorities for the City’s future development.
The event is open to all, with no registration required, though signing up on Eventbrite is encouraged to help with event planning.
