
With one play down and two to come, Trent University’s Anne Shirley Theatre Company is in the midst of the most ambitious season in its 22-year history.
The student-run company is staging The Lightning Thief until February 8 and then, from March 8 to 15, will bring the musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Showplace – a first for the company.
While tickets for The Lightning Thief are sold out, company president and producer Vivien Zujko says there are plenty of tickets available for the season closer at the larger downtown venue.
