From organizing the annual Santa Claus Parade to making a huge cash donation to Loonies on the Street for Kawartha Food Share, the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough continues to greatly impact the communities it serves.
Leading the service club since the fall of 2021 has been president Barry Craft. He was first approached about becoming a Kinsmen member some 20 years ago and did just that in 2012. Over the following years, more involvement with the club at the executive level led to his taking on the presidency.
Speaking to his leadership style, Craft sees himself ‘as the guy steering the ship’ who makes it a habit of consulting regularly with his executive team before making recommendations to the club.
Since being chartered in 1930, the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough has been led by a number of well-respected community builders.
