The coach brass referred to Wednesday nights game as the most important game of the season in Ottawa, as they trailed both North Bay and the 67’s by 5 points.
After losing to Ottawa and the win by the Battalion last night, putting both teams ahead of the Petes by 7 points, the need for a win became that much greater on Friday night with the 67’s in town.
A win would still give the Petes a fighting chance to make the post season, but a loss would make that a much more difficult mission with 16 games left to go in the regular season.
