Peterborough Police are still at Lansdowne Place after the mall was evacuated earlier this afternoon.
Crews forced all employees and shoppers from the mall at around 2pm and have blocked all entrances leading into the mall parking lot.
There is also a large amount of traffic in the area of Lansdowne and Monaghan and Lansdowne and High Street.
Police have not provided any information on why the mall was evacuated, but say that they will be using a drone as part of their investigation.
