Whatever the local outcome of next week’s provincial election, Progressive Conservative candidate Dave Smith can look back at the two pairs of winter boots he’s gone through and thousands of FitBit recorded steps as evidence he gave his re-election his best shot.
Smith has clearly taken nothing for granted as he seeks a third term representing Peterborough-Kawartha at Queen’s Park – an ambition that’s fueled by his wanting to see a few initiatives he’s had a hand in come to fruition.
