Peterborough police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a stabbing that occurred at a downtown bar early yesterday morning.
Officers with the High Risk Unit and Street Crime Unit took the suspect into custody around 1:00 pm on Thursday. He has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police say downtown CCTV cameras played a key role in identifying the suspect.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today.
