
Peterborough City Council has approved zoning changes and a site plan control exemption for a transitional housing project at 738 Chemong Rd. under Strong Mayor Powers.
The amendments adjust zoning requirements related to lot size, setbacks, and parking to accommodate a six-storey, 52-unit apartment building. The exemption applies to the new building and the existing eight-unit structure on the site.
The Brock Mission project aims to provide housing support for vulnerable residents. A building permit must be obtained by February 24th, 2026.
