Big night planned at PMC as Petes set to host Big Brothers Big Sisters Night

The Peterborough Petes are set to host Big Brothers Big Sisters Night at the Memorial Centre tonight as they take on the Ottawa 67’s, using the game as a platform to support the local mentorship organization.

Money from any tickets purchased through Big Brothers Big Sisters for tonight’s game goes directly toward matching a child with a mentor, supporting existing mentoring relationships, and funding programs for kids on their waitlist.

Petes marketing director Adam King emphasized the team’s commitment to giving back to the community through game-night partnerships with local charities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters will have a presence at the arena, engaging with fans and raising awareness about their programs. King highlighted the importance of recognizing the people behind the organization who keep it running.

As part of the fundraising efforts, Big Brothers Big Sisters is selling tickets for tonight’s game, with proceeds supporting their programs.

With another sellout expected, King encouraged fans to connect with Big Brothers Big Sisters at the game and explore ways to get involved in mentorship opportunities.
