Trent University will host its Spring Open House tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Peterborough campus, offering prospective students a chance to explore the university’s programs, scholarships, and career pathways.
A highlight of this year’s event is the new “Meet the Deans” drop-in session, where future students can engage with the deans of various faculties, including Humanities & Social Sciences, Sciences, Education, and Nursing. The deans will be available to answer questions and provide insights into academic opportunities at Trent.
Trent is also introducing a dedicated session for students considering transferring to the university, showcasing the institution’s transfer-credit-friendly policies. High school students in Grades 10 and 11 will have a separate session focused on what it’s like to study at Trent and the path to university.
In addition to these new features, attendees can take part in student-led campus tours, hear from professors about program offerings and research opportunities, and learn about Trent’s paid co-op options. Information on generous entrance scholarships, including full tuition for students with a 95% average or higher, will also be available.
The event will take place at Trent University, 1600 West Bank Drive, Peterborough. Students who register for Open House will be entered into a draw for free first-year tuition.
