The City of Peterborough is seeking public input on proposed upgrades to Riverside Park and East City Bowl, with a community information session set for Thursday, April 3, from 6 to 7 pm at the Peterborough Lions Community Centre.
Residents can learn about planned improvements and share feedback on amenities they’d like to see as the city works to revitalize the aging ball diamonds at 325 Burnham St. Repairs will focus on deteriorating features such as fencing, lighting, irrigation, and seating.
The project will roll out in two phases, with Phase 1 addressing the outfield wall, scorekeeper’s tower, and irrigation at Riverside Park. Phase 2, pending budget approval, will include upgrades to East City Bowl’s bleachers, dugouts, scorekeeper’s booth, irrigation, and lighting system.
A public survey is available online at connectptbo.ca/riverside until April 11, with paper copies available at City Hall.
