
If you’ve given any thought to umpiring baseball, now is the time to reach out to the Kawartha Baseball Umpires Association.
With another season of diamond action looming, the association is looking for new umpires, providing the opportunity to earn cash while staying involved with the game. Better still, the certification process is free, with all necessary training and support provided.
Association president and longtime umpire Jamie Graham says umpires are need for ball games involving young kids right up to adult age players, playing in a variety of local leagues.
