
A group of people who have made major impacts in Peterborough City and County have been recognized in a big way.
On Saturday, Peterborough-Kawartha MP Michelle Ferreri handed out King Charles III Coronation Medals. The honour, a first-of-its-kind Canadian commemorative medal, was created to mark the coronation of King Charles III on May 6th, 2023, and recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada.
Ferreri says it is really incredible to be able to shine a light on some of those who make our community special.
