After months of speculation, the Peterborough Federal Liberal Association has made it official – Emma Harrison will carry the party’s banner into the April 28th federal election.
A third-generation farmer and small business owner in Selwyn, Harrison is equal parts “thrilled and honoured” to be the Liberal candidate. She says the current trade war between Canada and the United States piqued an interest in politics that she’s always had.
