
The CAA Worst Roads Campaign is back for a 22nd year, again providing the opportunity for Ontario drivers to call out roads badly in need of repair.
Since 2003, CAA has published the online survey results and, armed with those results, lobbied different levels of government to expedite their repair.
While Peterborough roads avoided being mentioned on the Ontario top 10 list last year, two streets – Lansdowne Street and Water Street – were included on top five on the Eastern Ontario regional list.
CAA government relations consultant Brian Pirvu says the public call-out of Ontario’s worst roads has seen infrastructure funding made available and repairs made.
