
A longstanding Peterborough slo-pitch tradition will embark on another chapter this May, but the call for new players is out now.
Formed in 1991, the eight-team Peterborough Men’s Senior Slo-Pitch League takes to the Kinsmen ball field each Tuesday and Thursday morning into late September. Players aged 55 and up are provided a jersey and ball cap, with registration set at $120.
League president Sean Traviss admits that attracting new players is a challenge, but a necessity for the league to remain viable and field eight teams.
