A serious head-on collision on Highway 35 sent four people to hospital Monday morning, including one with life-threatening injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened around 7:00 a.m. between Sandy Hook Road and Pontypool Road. Emergency crews, including fire and paramedics, responded to the scene.
Three individuals were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, while one person was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre in critical condition.
The highway was closed for several hours as the OPP’s Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team investigated. The road has since reopened, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
