Another driver has been charged with stunt driving in Peterborough, marking the third such offence in the city this week.
Just before 9pm on Wednesday, an officer on patrol near Water Street and Marina Boulevard recorded a vehicle travelling 109 km/h in a 50 km/h zone—more than double the speed limit.
A 25-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving and speeding. Their licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for two weeks.
This follows two earlier stunt driving charges within the city, with a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old both caught driving nearly twice the posted limit earlier in the week.
