Just when we thought we were out – Mother Nature might pull us back in.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Peterborough, with the forecast calling for ice accretion of 2 to 5 mm on some surfaces Wednesday. Additionally, total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are expected as well straight through to Thursday morning.
Freezing rain warnings will likely be required as the event draws nearer. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
