
A 31-year-old Peterborough man is facing multiple charges following a residential break and enter.
Police responded to a call around 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Mark Street and Hunter Street, where a break-in had been reported. Upon arrival, officers located a suspect matching the description provided and took him into custody. A subsequent search revealed several tools commonly used for break-ins.
As a result of the investigation, the accused has been charged with:

Four counts of failing to comply with a probation order
The accused was already bound by four probation orders, each requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Additionally, police confirmed that the man was wanted on a warrant in another jurisdiction. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
