
A man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in St. Catharines has been arrested in Peterborough.
Niagara Regional Police say 30-year-old Rohan Chandler was taken into custody Tuesday morning at around 9:15am near Aylmer and Simcoe Streets by members of the Peterborough Police Emergency Response Team.
Chandler is charged with second-degree murder and failing to comply with a probation order. He’s accused in the March 30 death of a man in St. Catharines, where Niagara homicide detectives continue to investigate.
Following his arrest, Chandler was transported back to the Niagara Region where he was expected to appear for a bail hearing the same day.
