Ross Memorial Hospital has launched its Spring Appeal to support major upgrades to emergency and critical care services.
With demand for emergency care expected to rise by 30 percent over the next two decades, plans include the addition of a modern trauma room with airborne isolation and a new Mental Health Emergency Services Unit. The goal is to provide safer, more private care for patients in crisis.
Leading the effort is Jennifer Chipp-Smith, a longtime nurse and now director of critical care services. Her personal connection to the hospital has shaped her work and her role in the Spring Appeal, which is helping raise funds for the project.
Funds raised will also help improve diagnostic imaging and bring in new bedside equipment to support life-saving care. For more information visit rmh.org/foundation.
