Grammy and Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan has announced new dates for her highly anticipated Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Canadian tour, including a final stop at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on November 9th.
The cross-country tour, produced by Live Nation Canada, was originally slated for 2024 but postponed due to vocal health concerns. Now fully recovered, McLachlan is set to perform the landmark 1993 album in full, along with fan favourites from her decades-spanning catalogue.
“I’m really excited to bring the tour across Canada,” McLachlan said in a statement. “This tour is a real walk down memory lane… I’m hoping the songs will bring back a lot of good memories for everybody.”
The 17-date run kicks off October 15 in Victoria and includes stops in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax and more. Acoustic harmony trio Tiny Habits will open all shows.
A portion of ticket sales—$1 from each ticket—will benefit the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, a non-profit offering free music education and mentorship to underserved youth.
Peterborough fans can access the PMC Scoop Presale on Thursday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. online with a promo code. More details at www.sarahschoolofmusic.com and www.vipnation.com.
