Project Orchard nets 199 charges in effort to tackle child exploitation and luring

Project Orchard brought together 25 municipal police services alongside the OPP to arrest child offenders before they can harm children.

In a mini-documentary released by the OPP, Marion, the mother of a victim in a separate case, offered advice to parents.

Detective Staff Sergeant Tim Brown said this is an all too common occurrence.

Detective Constable Danielle Beaulieu has advice for every parent – it’s okay to be nosy.

Project Orchard resulted in police laying 199 charges through 67 criminal investigations. They also identified nine victims and seized 312 devices through 46 executed search warrants. You can watch the short documentary below.
