
Five Counties Children’s Centre in Peterborough is gearing up for its fourth annual Backyard Summer Social, and this year’s event comes with a special twist to celebrate the Centre’s 50th anniversary.
The social will take place on June 21, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Centre’s outdoor space and will feature live music, delicious food, and fun activities for guests, including axe throwing and a petting zoo.
It’s an adult-only event, providing a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
Five Counties’ Director of Fund Development, Lyn Giles, says the Centre is excited to celebrate its milestone with this event.

According to Giles, the event is an opportunity for adults to to let loose and have some fun.
