In what is shaping to up to be one of the closest races in the region, if not Ontario, Peterborough is going to be getting another visit from a federal leader.
Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Pierre Poilievre, has announced he will be making a stop in Keene on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
Poilievre joins Liberal Leader Mark Carney as the only leaders to stop in our riding over the course of the campaign, which comes to an end on Monday.
Heading into the final weekend, the polling site 338Canada.com, the riding is officially listed as a ‘Toss Up’. Liberal candidate Emma Harrison has a slight lead at 44 per cent, with incumbent Conservative Michelle Ferreri at 42 per cent. New Democrat candidate Heather Ray is in third place at 8 per cent.
Polls are open on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. PTBOTODAY.ca will have complete coverage throughout the day and night until a winner is declared.
