Downtown Peterborough’s Mac and Cheese Festival is going out in style tomorrow with a full-day outdoor celebration at Quaker Foods City Square on Charlotte Street.
Running from 11 am to 7 pm, the free admission all-ages finale will include mac and cheese vendors, live music, a beer garden featuring local breweries, family activities, and more. The event caps off a month-long showcase of specialty mac and cheese dishes at 17 downtown restaurants.
Festival-goers can sample the city’s cheesiest creations, enjoy performances from local bands, and take part in live voting for the People’s Choice Award. A panel of judges will also crown this year’s best dish.
The event is hosted by the Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area.
