A 33-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges following an incident on Sunday evening.
At around 7:00 p.m., police responded to a report of a cyclist being exposed to pepper spray at Del Crary Park. Officers located a man leaving the area who matched the suspect’s description and took him into custody. During the arrest, police seized a can of bear spray.
The man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and is set to appear in court on June 10.
