The United Way’s annual fundraising campaign has received a big shot in the arm.
Chair David Goyette and his partner Victoria Pearce have announced they will be donating 50-thousand dollars.
CEO Jim Russell says because of the couple’s involvement with the local community of musicians, the donation will help establish an investment stream called the ‘David Goyette and Victoria Pearce Arts and Wellness Initiative.
The campaign, which had a $1.75 million goal, comes to a close next Tuesday.
