A light-armoured vehicle donated to Peterborough Police recently came from Ontario Power Generation.
Police Chief Scott Gilbert confirmed the donor after multiple calls for the information from city council and the public since it was donated over the summer.
Gilbert has said the vehicle will never be used for offensive purposes.
