The National Bank of Canada branch on George Street will be closing.
The Examiner reports that due to a significant decrease in over-the-counter transactions, the branch will shut its doors on July 9th.
This isn’t the first bank to announce its upcoming departure from downtown Peterborough.
Last month, TD revealed its shutting its branch in Peterborough Square effective October 15th.
