More than 120 people took time to stop by and contribute to the United Way’s ‘Day of Caring’.
Last week, 135 physical kits containing personal care and hygiene products or backpacks filled with school supplies while 139 additional kits were donated online.
All backpack and school supplies will be distributed through local school boards in the fall through the Backpacks for Kids program. Brant Office Supply also contributed more than 200 facemasks to be included in the kits collected.
The personal care and hygiene kits collected will be distributed through local shelters next week.
